DragonSword: Awakening Reaches 1 Million Wishlists and 300,000 Copies Sold

Hound13 says DragonSword: Awakening has passed one million wishlists and 300,000 copies sold since launch, following its first community livestream and a rapid series of post-launch patches.

Hound13 said on August 11 that DragonSword: Awakening had reached one million wishlists and 300,000 copies sold since launch. The figures are company-reported milestones, not a live store counter, and the announcement did not give a platform-by-platform sales breakdown.

The milestone followed the studio’s August 10 eight-hour livestream, which it said would include an update-roadmap reveal, an AMA, and developer commentary. The earlier stream announcement listed 10,000 Discord members and 5,000 X followers as community targets or approaching figures; the later milestone post specifically confirmed only the one-million wishlist and 300,000-copy milestones.

A fast post-launch patch cadence

The announcement lands after a series of launch-window updates. Version 1.0.7 added multiplayer Quick Entry, expanded Rune inventory capacity, and changed dungeon wipe recovery; 1.0.9 then adjusted World Boss and Sudden Mission respawns to two hours after defeat and increased clear rewards across Dungeons, Hunts, and Raids.

For players, the useful takeaway is practical rather than numerical: the current game is moving quickly. Use the Updates archive for dated notes, the Co-op Guide for Quick Entry and lobby recovery, and the World Boss and Sudden Mission guide for the current open-world reward loop.
